Your Path to Creative & Spiritual Nourishment
We all want to spend more time exploring and enriching our creativity, connecting to our sense of self, and doing so amongst a rich and vibrant community of inspired souls on the same journey.
The problem is, life has a habit of getting in the way. We're all busy, and sometimes it's hard to prioritize what matters most.
But the truth of it is, if you're not making time and space in your life to engage with your creativity and spiritual needs, you're not living up to your human potential.
At Salt House, we live by the principle that every breathing human on this planet is a creative being.
Our mission is to support and empower your own journey as an artist, so that you can create freely and wildly, discover and know your true self, and live the life you want to live.
This is not about having "artistic talent".
This is about finding, trusting, and nurturing your artist within.
We believe in creativity as a deeply meaningful form of self-care.
And it is our job to keep you connected to that, in a way that feels attainable and inspiring.
Each month, we work with a new theme and create a content experience around that. Past themes have included self-worth, featuring a journaling masterclass with several guided exercises; connection, featuring a complete video guide to hosting a meaningful gathering at home; and self-expression, offering a mixed media painting class perfect for artists of all skill levels. Expect everything from guided meditations, workshops, book clubs, community challenges, live trainings, and more.
We send weekly love notes and monthly accountability check-ins to help you stay on track. We also connect regularly in our private members' Facebook group through curated posts like a weekly "Share-Your-Wins" thread, where everyone hops in and shares something they're celebrating for the week – anything from getting out their paints to overcoming a fear of public speaking to a simple moment of stillness found in meditation. It's our little communal gratitude practice, and it fills my cup every time.
I'm Sarah Ashley, and I am the founder of Salt House. I created the Inner Muse program and philosophy because I, perhaps like you, at one point did not believe I was creative. Since then, creativity has healed me and allowed me to find my true self. Now, it's my mission to share this gift with you.
