Golden Turmeric Latte Recipe

This is my official drink as part of my creativity ritual for the fall. I just love the vibrant, golden color and the warming fall flavors.

You can learn more about what a creativity ritual is and how to design your own here in this post. For now, you can just think of it like a morning routine, except in this case we are doing the ritual with the intention of feeling creative and empowered.

Over time, as you drink this beverage as part of the ritual, you will begin to associate it with the state of mind you desire.

I typically switch up my beverage or snack for this ritual by the season. Like I mentioned, I think the golden color and spices in this turmeric latte are so perfect for fall. Plus, the drink is packed with health benefits, which makes me feel good when I drink it.

You can even throw a shot of espresso in it to make a “dirty” turmeric latte if you’d like.

Turmeric Latte Recipe

  • 1 cup milk of your choice (I like oat milk or coconut milk for this)
  • 1-inch fresh turmeric, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1-inch fresh ginger, peeled and thinly sliced
  • Dash of freshly grated nutmeg
  • Manuka honey, to taste
  • Pinch of pink sea salt

Heat milk in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add turmeric and ginger. Allow to simmer.

Add nutmeg, honey, and salt. Transfer to high-powered blender (like a Vitamix) and blend until smooth and creamy.

If you don’t have a Vitamix, you can allow the mixture to simmer for longer and strain it before serving.
